SEDGEMOOR Ramblers began their 75th year by holding a Baton Walk, with a historical theme, to the Sedgemoor Battlefield in Westonzoyland in early January before passing on the baton to another group for them to join in the celebrations.

The ramblers are enjoying a full and varied winter programme and joined with Mendip Group to walk together on New Year's Day during the Festival of Winter Walks.

There are a number of short and easy Saturday walks arranged and new walkers are always welcome on any of the walks.
